Take Me To Post Comment Form The Barrow-Jackson County Navigator Team offers bi-monthly meetings & support groups for families of special needs. Upcoming meetings can be seen on this site so be sure to mark your calendar for upcoming events and workshops.

We are a group of parents & individuals who live in the Barrow & Jackson County area. We have experience in accessing services and resource for families with exceptional needs. The navigator team has several roles that we are asked to play in our community. Some include:

Serving as a point of contact for information,
Being familiar with resources in the community,
Accessing web based resource information for families using the Parent to Parent Roadmap to Services and database,
Reaching out to families in the county who are un-served or underserved,
Bridging families with both formal and informal supports based on their needs,
Identifying issues that are concerns in the local community, and ensuring the needs of families are known in the local community.
