Where: Cycle World of Athens

Description: Cycle World of Athens is hosting a Public Safety Appreciation for Fire, Police, EMS and the Military on Saturday, March 13, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Door prizes, free blood pressure checks, a free lunch from the grill and in-store specials and discounts are planned along with a police motorcycle skills demonstration. “We want everyone to come out and help us salute and show our appreciation toward those serving and protecting our local communities and this great nation,” said Mike Newell for Cycle World. The LifeSouth Bloodmobile will be in the parking lot from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. In preparation for your blood donation, eat a well-balanced meal within three hours prior to your donation and drink extra non-caffienated fluids throughout the day. Also, bring your driver’s license to the blood drive if you intend to donate blood. Cycle World of Athens is located at 4225 Atlanta Highway in Bogart. Call (706) 548-3300 for more information.
