Description: This exhibit moves from the flea market to the art gallery with crafts created from discarded or “repurposed” materials. Johnson, a studio artist, writer and educator from Eureka, Calif., maintains the website “Extreme Craft” (www.extremecraft.com) and writes for Craft magazine. His writing has been featured in museum catalogs, magazines and books worldwide, including a contribution to the new book Handmade Nation from Princeton Architectural Press. Call ahead for gallery hours. Exhibit runs from Sept. 2 to Sunday, Oct. 10.
