Description: FATZ® is pleased to host a pancake breakfast at the 442 Atlanta Highway northwest restaurant in Winder, GA., on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, to benefit Apalachee High Fields USA. From 8-10 a.m., FATZ® will open its doors to members of the community and transform into a hotspot for hotcakes to raise money to support Apalachee High Fields USA. Tickets for Short Stacks for Big Change, a pancake breakfast fundraiser, are $7 and can be purchased by contacting Mandy Pugh at (770) 653-8075. All attendees are encouraged to bring a donation to fuel FATZ® fundraising efforts for Apalachee High Fields USA. FATZ® introduced the idea of Short Stacks for Big Change in 2009 with the specific purpose of making a difference and helping the local community grow where every restaurant is located. Since its inception, FATZ® has raised more than $1,500,000 for charities and community organizations. FATZ® opens daily at 11 a.m. serving lunch and dinner to regulars, but on Saturdays, FATZ® staff volunteer alongside members of the community to raise money for organizations ranging from local schools to The United Way.
