Description: The 3rd Annual Charity Chili Cook-Off, presented by the Athens Area Humane Society, returns to Terrapin Brewery (265 Newton Bridge Rd., Athens, GA 30607) on Saturday, November 3, 2012 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. The 3rd Annual Charity Chili Cook-Off will raise funds for the Athens Area Humane Society (AAHS) while awarding a $300 cash prize to the winning charity for Best Chili! Twenty participating charities will have booths with their homemade chili, and attendees will sample the chili and vote for their favorites. The charity with the most votes will be named the winner. While enjoying sampling the chili, event attendees will have the chance to learn all about the great work our participating charities are doing in our community. Attendees will also be able to sample some of the world’s coolest beers at Terrapin, receive their top-rated brewery tour, and enjoy live music. Tickets for the 3rd Annual Charity Chili Cook-Off are $20 for attendees age 21 and over; $10 for attendees under age 21; and free to children age 12 and under.
