Downtown Winder was alive with excitement Saturday afternoon as the 61st annual Christmas Parade made its way down Broad Street and into East Athens Street. Stopping at the Winder Community Center, Winder Mayor Chip Thompson and his wife, Shadie, exited the restored 1941 fire engine which would later bring Santa Claus through downtown Winder.
