Perfect tree-planting weather was ordered up for Saturday’s Arbor Day at Fort Yargo and the group of volunteers – which included Boy Scouts and their leaders and parents, Master Gardeners, Winder Rotary Club members and individuals who took advantage of the opportunity to enhance Fort Yargo State Park – added 79 trees to the landscape. The mature trees were 5 gallon to 7 gallon sizes.
