Winder-Barrow High School’s Class of 2010 includes 116 Honor Graduates. Those Honor Grads, who will be wearing gold cords at commencement exercises on Friday, May 21, in W. Clair Harris Stadium, are seniors who had at least a 89.5 grade point average at the end of the first semester. During the May 11 Honors Night ceremonies, the names of all the Honor Graduates were called out by W-BHS Band Director Michael Oubre and they received their cords of their academic achievement and they circled around inside the Winder Community Center. Among the Honor Graduates are Valedictorian Abigail Rodriguez and Salutatorian Chelsea Jenkins. W-BHS hosted Honors Nights at the Winder Community Center on May 11 and a number of recognitions were presented. Here are some scenes from Honors Nights photographed by LeAnne Akin.
